the best thing for pakistan would be to get military driven afghanistan solution on backfoot and let the elected government rethink and remake afghan policy.
i think the main points of that policy should be
- pakistan should support who ever in the govt in Kabul and shouldn't have her favourites
- Pakistan should have no interference policy in Afghanistan.
- Pakistan should secure areas on her side and make the border secure.
- Pakistan should make sure there is no cross border territor activity and must not tolerate any terror coming from Afghan side.
- Pakistan must increase people to people contact with Afghan people support their visa and economic progress.
